WayAway is a flight aggregator that provides travellers with the best rates on airline tickets. Its innovative search finds the best option for specific travel dates by comparing airfares offered by all major US and global airlines and agencies. The aggregator displays final prices, without any hidden fees.
I use Kiwi all the time when booking my tickets as they have an easy-to-use app where I can check in and see all the details of my flight.
Aviasales helps you buy cheap flight tickets. No extra fees or markups! In the mobile application and on aviasales.com they have the lowest possible rates from reliable agencies.
Transportation Resources
GetTransfer.com is a booking service for transfers and car rentals with a personal driver at the best prices. The hourly price for GetTransfer is cheaper than most other companies.
BikesBooking compares the prices of 950 rental companies from over 40 countries. You can book from motorcycles to scooters, quads, and bicycles all over the world.
They have more than 1,000 transportation providers offering tickets for trains, buses, flights, and ferries, as well as car rentals and airport transfers. You can explore Europe, the United States, and Canada while comparing transportation options and finding the right price for your budget.
Renting a Car
I love Discover Cars because they compare all websites to give you the cheapest car rental possible in over 10,000 locations worldwide.
Travelling by Train
The company provides access to an extensive array of rail products from over 50 European train companies helping travellers get their train tickets without looking weird in front of the machine at the train station.
Cruising
Ferryscanner is your go-to search and booking engine for ferry tickets, covering all destinations in Greece and 24 other countries.
SEARADAR offers you a dedicated concierge team which can help you arrange your dream trip. Free of charge, they will assist you with yacht selection, destination choice and route planning, finding a professional crew, and helping with paperwork.
Cruise Critic features more than 650,000 cruise reviews as well as advice and information from the team of cruise experts on everything from choosing a ship to planning your time in port. The site also offers itinerary and pricing information, deals and money-saving tips.
Accommodation
Most of my time I book through Booking.com. They have a wide range of accommodation options and are helpful if something doesn’t go as planned.
If I don’t have much luck with Booking.com then I check out Agoda. They may offer additional properties.
Perfect for a hostel stay, Hostelworld has more than 17,000 hostels in more than 179 countries, making the brand the leading online hub for social travel. The website offers multilingual experiences and support.
Hotellook.com has more than 250,000 hotels in 205 countries, working with data from more than 10 online booking systems, such as Booking.com, Agoda.com, Hotels.com, Expedia, and others.
Insurance
Great if your flight is cancelled at the last minute or delayed by at least 3 hours. Check out their site to see if you’re entitled to compensation. You don’t have to pay them anything, but if you are entitled to compensation, they will do all the work for you, but they do take 35 % of any claim. Yes, it’s a lot, but you probably get more money back if you try to make a claim yourself.
An insurance company that has competitive prices with a high level of service.
Compensair is a UK-based online service that helps air travellers receive up to €600 compensation from airlines in case of a flight delay, cancellation, or denied boarding. Compensair takes care of all the paperwork, negotiations with the airlines, and legal proceedings. The brand is working with all major airlines and operating on a “no win, no fee” basis.
Day Trips, Tickets and Excursions
Great place to find day trips or skip-the-line tickets to popular sites.
If you can’t find it on Get Your Guide, then check out Viator.
Tripadvisor is world-wide-known for its info about where to stay, what to do, and where to eat based on guidance from those who have been there before. Use it to find deals on accommodations, book experiences, reserve tables at delicious restaurants, and discover great places nearby.
Tiqets will help you book museums and attractions around the world at the last minute. Receive the tickets directly in a digital form, and show your mobile phones in place of physical tickets to museums, places of interest, and attractions.
The service currently operates in over 20 cities, across four continents. This is the typical hop on hop off bus at major landmarks, with commentary available in multiple languages.
